Business Controller for IFO Adult Investigation
Within the IFO Adult Investigation department, we have two business controllers. As one is moving on to new assignments, we are now looking for a new colleague!
Responsibilities
As a business controller, you contribute, together with your closest colleague, to a cohesive organization of the department's work. You are involved in the work with operational planning and in the department's work with various ongoing change processes. The assignment is complex, and you need to have the ability to balance between an operational and a strategic perspective. The work is carried out in close dialogue with the department head and management team. The assignments you receive have the mandate to be driven within the department. One of the assignments is to coordinate meetings and development issues in the department's management group.
The business controller provides support for the department head and unit manager for support and coordination in the overarching issues concerning the department. The department includes, among other things, authority exercise in economic assistance and the adult area. You also have close collaboration with the department's unit managers, planning secretaries, the sustainability, quality, and board department, as well as other departments in the administration.
In the role, you are expected to have a holistic view of the operations and to support the department in strategic and long-term work. The starting point for the work is the needs of the operations and changes in the external environment. As a business controller, you will lead larger change processes that may include, for example, digitization, changed working methods, and new legislation.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a relevant social or behavioral science education of at least 180 credits, or an equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have experience in business development and knowledge of change work, follow-up, impact measurement, and implementation.
It is an advantage if you have experience working with authority exercise in a politically governed organization. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience in change management and/or service design.
To succeed in the assignment, good collaboration skills and a lack of prestige are required. You organize, plan, and follow up your activities and work in the organization in a structured manner. You have the ability to understand and convey information to your colleagues, both verbally and in writing. It is important that you can define the department's overarching strategic needs and then implement the development work in the organization.
